Notary is when a document is requiring it to be notarized. The notary process requires the documents, the signer and a notary public. The Notary Public will verify the signer through identification make sure they are who is named on the documents and witness they have signed the document. All notary certificates need to be done according to the state laws.
Apostille is required when a document is being used internationally. It’s an additional step, sometimes after a document has been notarized it requires to be Apostille. Apostille authenticates the document and or if its notarized it basically authenticates the notary certificate that was properly done by the states laws and the signature of the notary is an exact match to states records. This process helps eliminate fraud.
